The Atlanta NAACP rarely weighs in on political races, but Wednesday chapter President Richard Rose strongly denounced Atlanta mayoral candidate Kasim Reed, criticizing him for his work (or lack thereof) on affordable housing, relationship with law enforcement, mistreatment of HBCU’s, and allegations of corruption while mayor.  Reed, who is in a statistical tie with Felicia Moore in most polls, denied the claims and struck out at Rose, calling the attack “deeply disturbing.”  Expect more fireworks as we get closer to election day – this opposition to Reed’s campaign from a major advocacy group has him DRIFTING…
