The calls to eliminate Georgia’s state income tax are once more getting louder as campaign season heats up, with a pair of high profile candidates hoisting the banner ahead of 2022.  State Sen. Butch Miller, running for Lt. Governor, has promised to eliminate the state income tax, and now he is joined by former U.S. Sen. David Perdue who just jumped into the race for governor.  Republicans Vernon Jones, also running for governor, and Jeanne Seaver, for Lt. Gov., have pledged to do the same.  Eliminating the income tax is of course much more difficult than it sounds (where do you make up the tax dollars?) but for proponents the current crop of GOP candidates have the idea RISING…
