City of Atlanta officials on Tuesday, headlined by Mayor-elect Andre Dickens, gathered at a Midtown tower once occupied by AT&T to announce the new Center for Global Health Innovation, which they hope will spark investment and innovation in the life sciences similar to how Tech Square up the street attracted the tech industry.  What they were cagey on though, were details, not naming any of the “large tenants” who will open offices in the building, nor the “institutional investor” who donated $26 million to the operation.  Still though, with universities, tech companies, and cutting edge hospitals all within shouting range Atlanta’s future as a player in the life science sector is RISING…
