Unsurprisingly, a large contingent among the state’s top lawmakers – including Gov. Brian Kemp and Speaker David Ralston – are massive fans of UGA football.  So look for a delayed start to the 2022 legislative session, slated to gavel in next Monday, the same day as the national championship that will see the Dawgs look for revenge against the University of Alabama in Indianapolis.  Monday will likely see a “get out quick day” and likely no session on Tuesday (with many legislators planning to travel to the game) with things really kicking off Wednesday – and hopefully with a UGA national championship to have spirits under the Gold Dome RISING…
