Former Paulding County District Attorney Dick Donovan was sentenced to 12 months of probation Thursday after pleading guilty to one misdemeanor count of unprofessional conduct.  As part of his plea deal he had to resign as DA, surrender his law license, and had three other charges against him dropped.  Donovan allegedly broke laws after lying in a sworn affidavit related to a sexual harassment case involving a former employee.  He is the third former DA prosecuted by the AG’s office in the past few months, joining former Chattahoochee DA Mark Preston Jones and former Glynn County DA Jackie Johnson.  SINKING…
