Seven Democrat state senators yesterday morning deliberately missed voting on a constitutional amendment banning non-citizen voting. It is already in state law but passing this amendment makes it harder for Democrats to later allow non-citizen voting in local elections as in New York City. One no-show was Sen. Jen Jordan, D-Sandy Springs, who was “excused” yet attended that morning’s municipal association event. Shameful when a lawmaker from either party deliberately doesn’t want to take a stand. So, by refusing to vote for the ban, can one infer that Jordan and the other Democrats want non-citizen votes but are afraid to go on record admitting it? SINKING…

For the 11th consecutive year, beloved Atlanta-based fast food giant Chick-fil-A took home top honors from the American Customer Satisfaction Index.
