Eight protesters were arrested Tuesday at the site of the proposed “Cop City” in DeKalb County, after two molotov cocktails were thrown at officers looking to remove them from the city-owned land.  Protesters have taken up residence on the 85-acre plot, which was leased by the City of Atlanta to the Atlanta Police Foundation to build a new training facility for police and firefighters.  Opponents say they are worried about environmental damage and/or continued investment into law enforcement.  Not making a great case for themselves when found squatting and lobbing firebombs at police – the protestors’ ship is SINKING…
