Kennesaw State University in Cobb County only began its football program in 2015.  It quickly found success at the FCS (one tier below where UGA and GT play) level, making the playoffs in each of the past four seasons and winning the Big South Conference three times.  But Coach Brian Bohannon and the Owls have their sights set even higher, receiving approval yesterday from Georgia’s Board of Regents to move its athletics programs to Conference USA and join the FBS.  The school is expected to join in 2024 but before then must jump through a few more hurdles, most notably expanding its football stadium to about twice its current size.   KSU football hitting the big time has its students and fans RISING…
