Loeffler voices support for law enforcement

In a letter sent to the Marietta Daily Journal, former U.S. Sen. Kelly Loeffler urges the state’s business community to join her in supporting local law enforcement by taking advantage of the recently-passed Qualified Law Enforcement Foundation (QLEF) Donation Credit.  QLEF allows businesses to receive a tax credit for supporting local police foundations, with an overall cap of $75 million.  That funding could go a long way particularly in Atlanta, which has the highest per-capita murder rate in the nation among large cities and is currently understaffed by some 450 police officers, a whopping 22%.  Loeffler hopes the tax credit will have law enforcement and public safety RISING…
