Embattled Fulton County Clerk of Superior and Magistrate Courts Cathelene “Tina” Robinson announced Monday that she will be retiring this summer – and will be doing so a very wealthy woman.  A recent story that Robinson was pocketing over $350,000 per year off of processing passport fees led to public outcry, but a bill seeking to curtail the practice died in the General Assembly.  Robinson was no favorite among Fulton judges either – in fact all 10 of them recently co-signed a letter saying they’d “lost confidence” in her.  So Robinson steps away a year before her term ends in 2024 – handing over the clerkship to her right hand woman Ché Alexander.  Hopefully Alexander can do more to help alleviate Fulton’s major backlog of cases – DRIFTING…
