When Kia was honored at the State Capitol earlier this year it showed off its EV6 model – but was quick to remind those in attendance that the vehicle wasn’t produced in Georgia, unlike the popular Telluride and Sorrento.  Fast forward a few weeks and the South Korean car manufacturer had a big announcement; the all new, fully electric EV9 SUV will be built at the company’s West Point facility.  Batteries will be produced at the recently-announced SK Battery/Hyundai plant in Bartow County.  Another domino to fall in Georgia’s emergence as a leading electric vehicle producer has it RISING…
