A solar power installation in Newton County, south of Columbus, has caused some major (and expensive) headaches for Nashville-based  developer Silicon Ranch, as a failure to implement effective erosion controls filled a nearby lake with mud.  An ensuing lawsuit resulted in a jury awarding a whopping $135 million in damages to the lake owners, and Silicon Ranch has been ordered to stop further development.  Not so clean energy!  The solar mudslide has Silicon Ranch SINKING…
