It’s hard to get Democrats and Republicans to agree on much these days in Washington D.C., but on Thursday they came together to honor the late U.S. Rep. John Lewis with a new commemorative stamp that will help celebrate his life and legacy.  House Speaker Kevin McCarthy stood arm in arm with former Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries, normally political rivals, to drop the curtain on the stamp and reminisce about Lewis’ impact both as a congressman and as a civil rights leader.  Atlanta will also rename its main post office after Lewis this August.  The recognition has Lewis’ memory RISING…
