Georgia lawmakers have very strict rules around what they are allowed to spend their campaign contributions on.  This week the Georgia Ethics Commission made a ruling that will expand those options to include caregiving expenses.  The ruling is part of a larger, national push to allow candidates, often mothers, to pay for childcare expenses from their campaign funds so that they are able to campaign and later legislate.  State Reps. Stacey Evans, D-Atlanta, and Beth Camp, R-Concord, were behind the push, which removes a barrier of entry for parents looking to become public servants. RISING…
