Georgia’s Governor and First Lady are leading an economic development mission to Panama this week, accompanied by representatives from the Georgia Ports Authority and Georgia Department of Economic Development. According to Gov. Brian Kemp, this trip will focus on logistics infrastructure and supply chain operations at the Panama Canal.

Three Ga. Congress members won’t condemn socialism

A vote last Friday in the U.S. House of Representatives to condemn the “horrors of socialism” passed on a mostly party-line vote, with 98  Democrats including Georgia Reps. Hank Johnson, David Scott and Nikema Williams voting against it and 199 Republicans including all eight from Georgia voting for it.
