After much speculation the Atlanta Braves have made their pick as to who will manage the team in its first season at Cobb County’s shiny new Suntrust Park – and it’s a familiar name. Brian Snitker, who has been in the organization for over 40 years and took over during the season this year as an interim manager, has been hired to head up the club full time. Downtown Atlanta’s State Farm Arena is quite the box office draw. How big? From October to to March, State Farm brought in $76.2 million across 60 events, making it the third-highest grossing venue in the entire nation, behind only New York’s Madison Square Garden and the Sphere in Las Vegas, and fifth globally.
