Norwood endorses Jackson

Atlanta City Councilwoman Mary Norwood has given her endorsement to Republican candidate for governor Rick Jackson, a move that’s not necessarily surprising, but is notable.  Norwood lost a runoff for Atlanta mayor to Keisha Lance Bottoms back in 2017 by only 800 votes, showing her popularity in Atlanta, particularly up in Buckhead where there’s a large swathe of GOP and independent voters.  Jackson would love to cut into the Atlanta vote, and if Norwood supporters help him do so, his odds of a November win are RISING…
