Despite its population continuing to surge and unemployment at record-lows, Atlanta’s commercial real estate scene is facing a major problem.  Roughly 1/3 of the city’s office space is either vacant or being subleased, some 44 million square feet.  That’s not only bad news for landlords but also the restaurants, hotels and shops located near them.  The pandemic and ensuing pivot to more ‘work from home’ jobs is an issue yet to be resolved – and one that has commercial real estate owners SINKING…
