Georgia’s path to legalizing and selling medical cannabis oil to patients has been a long and difficult one to say the least, but it will soon become the first state to sell the oil at independent pharmacies. More than 120 stores statewide have already applied to sell the medical cannabis oil, (which has no psychoactive qualities) as part of a partnership with Botanical Sciences, one of the two licensed production companies in the state. Proposed Fulton Co. property tax hike
Fulton County homeowners let out a collective groan Monday following the announcement that property taxes will be increasing by more than 12% over the rollback millage rate. The hike, per the over the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, is to increase funding for the 2025 General Fund.
