Beer Bill Hung Over?
When SB 63 was introduced in January, many Georgia officials, including sponsor State Sen. Hunter Hill (R-Smyrna), believed that a new age was beginning for craft beer in the Peach State. The so-called “Beer Jobs Bill” would allow breweries in the state to sell small amounts of beer directly to customers. However, the bill has yet to make it to a committee vote and some are blaming Lt. Governor Cagle for being the opposing force.
