On Thursday afternoon many Georgians noticed a blaze of light flash across the sky.  It wasn’t a bird or a plane – it was a meteorite plummeting to earth.  And starting on Friday a very specific breed of tourists descended on the state; meteorite hunters.  Armed with rare mineral magnets, the hunters searched fields and construction sites in and around West Forest, in Henry County, searching for chunks of space rock that can be sold for more than $100 a gram.  Dozens of chunks have been found and more remain, leaving meteorite hunters RISING…
