It’s All About the Money

For all the talk about high-tech ‘get out the vote’ efforts, ‘big tent’ philosophies, and flexible ad campaigns, if Jason Carter hopes to have any hope of upsetting Gov. Nathan Deal in November, he’s got to have a whole lot of cash.   Carter reported $1.6 million on hand at the end of March, but he’d better have a whole lot more if he wants to keep up with Deal, who has been in a fundraising frenzy as of late, through the Summer and into the Fall.  Poll numbers suggest the race is still close, but money above all else will show if Carter is rising or sinking.  For now, DRIFTING…
