Earlier this morning The New York Times and other sources reported that U.S. Speaker of the House John Boehner was planning on stepping down from that position and giving up his seat in Congress by the end of October.
Now news is coming in that U.S. Rep. Tom Price is planning on running for the Majority Leader position, presumably to be left open by current Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy of California, the early favorite to take Boehner’s place as Speaker of the House.
