Last week, the Hillary Clinton campaign announced endorsements from a roster of elected Democrats in Georgia. Over 60 legislators, community and grassroots leaders endorsed Hillary in what her campaign called an effort to “help build a grassroots-driven volunteer team that will help Hillary to win the Georgia Primary.”

Included on her roster are Congressman John Lewis, House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams, Representative Stacey Evans, Congressman Hank Johnson, Congressman David Scott and a few score other leaders from around the state. Congressman Sanford Bishop has yet to weigh in but for the most part, name a state Democrat and chances are they have endorsed Hillary Clinton. Bernie Sanders seems to be yet to receive an endorsement from an elected official in the state.
