Later today the Cobb County Commissioners are expected to vote in favor of a new bus route circling between the Cumberland Mall area and the new Braves stadium nearby. The project carries a taxpayer-funded bill of over $1 million, with critics decrying the move saying that it is public money being used for what is essentially a Braves shuttle. Fulton County homeowners let out a collective groan Monday following the announcement that property taxes will be increasing by more than 12% over the rollback millage rate.
