The Georgia Secretary of State’s Office this week has declined to release information as to how last month’s massive data breach occurred. According to Secretary of State Brian Kemp’s office, the data will be released to the public once their internal investigation is complete. This news angered several lawmakers and special interest groups, who have questioned the process and possible cover-up by the SoS office. Proposed Fulton Co. property tax hike
Fulton County homeowners let out a collective groan Monday following the announcement that property taxes will be increasing by more than 12% over the rollback millage rate. The hike, per the over the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, is to increase funding for the 2025 General Fund.
