The Rev. Franklin Graham, who made news recently by leaving the Republican Party to become an independent and for endorsing presidential candidate Donald Trump’s proposal for a temporary ban on Muslim immigration, has scheduled a Feb. 10 “Decision America Tour” noon prayer rally in Atlanta. The founder of the worldwide Samaritan’s Purse charitable organization and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association is holding the rally, which will also be held this year in the 49 other states, at Liberty Plaza across from the state Capitol.

The rally is “to share the Gospel and challenge Christians to pray fervently and boldly live out their faith at home, in public and at the ballot box,” Graham says. The mission of the “Decision America Tour” is to “Pray. Vote. Engage.”

Graham says he’s encouraging Christians to vote for candidates who uphold biblical principles. But the North Carolina-based evangelist also says he won’t endorse any candidates because no political party or politician is the answer for all the country’s needs.
