Criticized by some members of the Judicial Qualifications Commission and a General Assembly which last spring voted to abolish and re-constitute the seven-member watchdog panel, Hiawassee attorney Mark Dehler resigned yesterday as JQC executive director. Dehler became increasingly isolated after his ally former State Bar President Lester Tate resigned as chairman in April. Both are Democrats who are accused of playing favorites when it came to investigating or disciplining judges.
