Fulton County businessman Shawn Hanley, a member of the Georgia Veterans Service Board, announces the launch of Green Veterans — a 501c3 environmentally-sensitive repair and resell organization designed to “train and employ honorably discharged veterans in the fields of electronic repair/refurbishment and recycling.” Its Sept. 6 kick-off in Roswell, with the public invited, features former University of Georgia Coach and Athletic Director, (and Marine veteran) Vince Dooley and Georgia Senate Veteran Affairs Committee Chairman Hunter Hill.
