Two days ago, when the Board of Regents named Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens as the new President of Kennesaw State, it set off a string of new appointments by Governor Nathan Deal.

Shortly after the announcement of Olens’ appointment at KSU, Gov. Deal appointed Chris Carr to replace Olens as the top law official in the state. Carr has been commissioner of the Georgia Department of Economic Development since 2013. This move was then followed by several other senior administrative changes.
