Amidst the uproar of Donald Trump becoming President-elect Trump, a few things have gotten overlooked in the aftermath. For Atlanta, where protesters were marching down Peachtree Street last week, thanks to the vote on the TSPLOST and MARTA expansion referenda, perhaps those protesters might have had an easier time getting to their destinations.
The referendum passed overwhelmingly last Tuesday by approximately 70%, perhaps not surprising as the recent Atlanta Regional Commission survey pointed how high a priority transportation was for many residents.
