Last week Congress passed the Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation (WIIN) Act, legislation critical for Georgia when it comes to maintaining the port of Brunswick and the Savannah Harbor Expansion Project (SHEP).

The entire Georgia congressional delegation – Democrat and Republican— was pushing for WIIN passage. Some specifics from U.S. Rep. Buddy Carter, R-Savannah, who represents the coastal district:
