Election season isn’t over just yet in northwest Georgia. There’s one more state Senate election to go. Early voting began yesterday at the Elections Offices of Gordon, Murray, Pickens and Whitfield Counties and will intermittently continue until January 6 in Senate District 54. It is a Jan. 10 runoff election between longtime Republican Chuck Payne and independent liberal Debby Peppers.
