As digital technology continues to filter around the wider economy, groups continue to sprout up that aim to connect people hoping to take full advantage of the tools available. One such group that has taken up residence in Atlanta at Ponce City Market is General Assembly (GA). GA began as a co-working space in Manhattan in 2011 and has since evolved into an education and career transformation hub, specializing in programming along a variety of areas. GA offers short courses, online classes and 10 or 12 week courses in coding, UX and design, data, marketing, business and career development. Their short courses are sometimes free and frequent.
