Senate Bill 85, which would allow breweries to peddle their wares directly to customers on site, passed the state Senate with ease on Thursday by a margin of 49-2. Great news for a bill that in recent years has stalled out and/or been changed radically before having a version passed late in the session. It will now head to the state House, where with the backing of Speaker David Ralston it is expected to find similar success.
