We know Atlanta residents want transportation upgrades, and want them in a major way. We know because they voted in favor of a pair of sales tax hikes, one for a transportation special purpose local option sales tax, (T-SPLOST) and another for a MARTA sales tax. Both of the November votes were lopsided, sending a clear message to Atlanta officials to get to work on improving the city’s transportation infrastructure.
