It was interesting to note on the last day of the General Assembly that House Bill 452 by Rep. Jesse Petrea, R-Savannah, was so popular, and that so much pressure for passage was applied by proponents, that the trouble-plagued Senate Bill 1 was added onto Petrea’s bill to ensure that SB.1 got over the finish line.
