Over 80,000 members and supporters of the National Rifle Association will make their way to Atlanta next week to take part in the organization’s annual conference. With exhibits, concerts, meet and greets, and speeches from some big league special guests, it’s one of Georgia’s biggest events of the entire year.
With country music stars including Chris Janson, Josh Thompson, Lindsay Ell, and Cary Barlowe performing, there will be no shortage of good music over the weekend. Of course, those names pale in comparison to country legend and NRA Life Member Hank Williams Jr., who is scheduled to perform on Saturday night.
Also amidst the series of grassroots meetings and leadership forums are a series of incredible speakers who will make their way to Atlanta to talk about why the second amendment means so much to them. With U.S. Senators David Perdue and Ted Cruz, Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke, and Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway all scheduled, (among others) you won’t find a list of speakers like this outside of the RNC Convention during an election year.
And then of course there’s the keynote speaker, as President Donald Trump will become the first sitting President to appear at the event since Ronald Reagan. Trump will speak at the NRA-ILA’s annual Leadership Forum on Friday, ratcheting up the excitement to levels the convention hasn’t seen in decades.
InsiderAdvantage will be live from the Georgia World Congress Center with stories, pictures, and videos of the proceedings, and if you can’t make it in person we hope you’ll join us on InsiderAdvantage.com!
