The race to replace Tom Price in Georgia’s 6th District clearly stole the headlines on Wednesday morning, but there were a handful of other local races on the ballot across Metro Atlanta.

In the newly formed city of Stonecrest three City Council members were elected to join Mayor Jason Lary as the inaugural government for the South DeKalb city.  Rob Turner, George Turner Jr., and Diane Daniels Adoma each emerged from extremely low turnout races to win their runoff elections.
