Today, Abrams is ready to take public service to the next level — the highest state level. Putting an end to speculation, Abrams has announced that she’s joining the contest to replace outgoing Republican Gov. Nathan Deal. “I think it’s critical to run for office when you have something new and better to offer the citizens,” said Abrams. “Running for office should never be an exercise in vanity.
