A Georgia Supreme Court decision in the Northside Hospital open records case could have important ramifications for the cause of open government in Georgia for years to come. This is the view of Augusta attorney and Georgia Press Association general counsel David Hudson.

“It’s the most important open government issue I have seen in 35 years,” he told this writer and a group of other journalists at the GPA’s recent Jekyll Island convention.
