University of Georgia “Professor” Richard Watson is teaching two fall business courses that– get this!– allow students experiencing “stress” to change their grades. According to the syllabi obtained by Campus Reform, students can “email the instructor indicating what grade [they] think is appropriate, and it will be so changed” with “no explanation.” Incredibly, there’s more. Students can also opt out of group work and have their grades be solely based off individual work. And Watson only wants positive comments when doing in-class presentations. We hope Watson isn’t too “stressed” if he is labelled an idiot who disgraces UGA, Georgia’s Board of Regents and the entire concept of a rigorous educational experience. For taking educational insanity to a new low, UGA and this so-called “educator” are SINKING…
Proposed Fulton Co. property tax hike
Fulton County homeowners let out a collective groan Monday following the announcement that property taxes will be increasing by more than 12% over the rollback millage rate. The hike, per the over the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, is to increase funding for the 2025 General Fund. The county will host three public meetings to discuss the plan with the public before the millage rate is set, but the likely tax hike has Fulton homeowners SINKING…
