In what may be the largest fine ever imposed on a Georgia lobbyist, corporate and political consultant David Simons of Savannah admits guilt relating to complaints brought against him by the Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission. After a lengthy investigation, Simons agreed that he violated state campaign finance law in various areas and he must pay a $15,100 fine over a two-year period.
