Georgia’s Health Care Reform Task Force has announced four core recommendations to improve the health and health care of all Georgians. The recommendations are aimed at slowing the rising cost of health care, improving access to medical services, strengthening the doctor-patient relationship, and providing consumers with better health coverage choices.
The report was released Monday, the first day of the 2018 session of the Georgia General Assembly, and almost a year after Lt. Governor Casey Cagle called on the Task Force to bring forward solutions to lower the costs of care, premiums, and deductibles so that Georgia families have access to the quality care they need, at a price they can afford.
