Last week President Donald Trump announced his intent to nominate four new U.S. Marshals to fill open positions, including a pair in Georgia.
The first, John Cary Bittick, would serve as the United States Marshal for the Middle District of Georgia. Bittick, the longtime sheriff of Monroe County, is a former president of the Georgia Sheriff’s Association as well as president of the National Sheriff’s Association.
