Last week, amidst the uproar around the Clay Tippins’ recording of Casey Cagle admitting the heavy influence of “politics” on public policy, an endorsement announcement came out from the Cagle campaign. Perhaps designed to turn some eyes away from the tape and back to the campaign (the email came in about mid-day), it was announced that the once-and-perhaps-still-prominent Republican Steve Forbes had endorsed Cagle in his governor run.
