During the 2018 Legislative Session Georgia lawmakers approved Senate Resolution 484, which creates a study committee to took into creating a lottery game to benefit veterans. Wednesday, Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle appointed Sen. Ed Harbison (D – Columbus) serve as the chairman.
“The idea of a lottery that will benefit veterans’ issues is not a new idea, but one that has been discussed for several years,” said Sen. Harbison.
