Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp was flanked by a cadre of Republicans Thursday night at the party’s ‘Unity Rally’ in Atlanta.  Governor Nathan Deal and U.S. Sen. David Perdue were among the heavy hitters to give Kemp their full throated endorsements, as was Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle, who was defeated in Tuesday’s runoff following a long, divisive campaign.

InsiderAdvantage was on hand to see Cagle speak to those gathered in attendance, as he urged the party to rally around Kemp and reminded them that Republican ideals would win the day in November.

Notably not in attendance – Former state Rep. Geoff Duncan and state Sen. David Shafer, whose race for Lt. Governor was so close (Duncan won by less than 1%) that a recount is still a possibility.
