Echoing sentiments from President Trump, U.S. Sen. David Perdue went on Fox News this week to discuss the important role U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers play in our national security.
ICE has become a contentious and partisan topic in recent months, with some Democrats urging for its dissolution, and one candidate for Attorney General in New York talking about prosecuting the organization.
The core of Perdue’s message, like Trump’s, was quite simple – as he told Fox News at Night’s Shannon Bream, “President Trump’s message to the men and women of ICE is very clear: We have your backs, and we appreciate what you do.”
