Robocalls to cell phones have become a major issue nationwide over the past year or so. Where they were once only a problem on landlines, now Americans receive more than 4.4 billion robocalls a month, up 83% from last year. Georgia ranks fourth among all states for the obnoxious calls, and Atlanta ranks first among ALL cities with 192.3 million calls a month. New York man arrested over threats to Mike Collins
Georgia law enforcement officials traveled all the way up to Buffalo, New York this week to arrest a man charged with making death threats to U.S. Rep. Mike Collins and his son-in-law. The suspect faces two counts of terroristic threats. “No American should have to worry that their home could be the next Butler, Pennsylvania or Utah Valley University,” said Collins after the arrest, referring to the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk and attempted assassination of then-candidate Donald Trump.
